Macnica Galaxy announced participation in Automation Taipei 2026. This year marks the first time that Macnica Galaxy and Macnica Anstek will exhibit together under the Macnica Group brand, ocusing on smart manufacturing, AI cloud computing, and edge computing. The two companies will showcase their latest technologies and integrated solutions from August 19 to 22 at Booths L810 and N804 on the 4th Floor of Hall 1, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
In recent years, Macnica Galaxy has evolved from a semiconductor distributor into an AI platform integrator, actively expanding its presence across AI, cloud computing, edge computing, industrial automation, and cybersecurity. Built upon its 4S business framework: Semiconductor, System, Software, and Security. Macnica Galaxy helps enterprises establish the infrastructure and application environment required to accelerate AI adoption. Meanwhile, Macnica Anstek, a professional semiconductor distributor with extensive expertise in industrial applications, represents leading technology providers including Analog Devices(ADI) and Advanced Micro Devices(AMD).
Another highlight at this year's exhibition is the Vision AI demonstration, "AI Portrait Sketch," developed by Macnica Galaxy, and through the integration of an Epson industrial robotic arm, the MSI Edge AI computing platform EdgeXpert MS-C931 based on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform,, the OpenCV open-source computer vision library, and the Stable Diffusion generative AI model.
After a user captures a portrait, the system performs image acquisition, AI inference, facial recognition, image generation, and motion control in real time. It then automatically generates a drawing path for the Epson robotic arm, which completes the portrait, demonstrating a low-latency AI × OT collaborative workflow from image capture to robotic execution.
Meanwhile, Macnica Galaxy has partnered with SignalPro to develop a contactless radar-based pulmonary function assessment powered by AI sensing technology. The solution leverages an NVIDIA Jetson edge computing platform running the NVIDIA NemoClaw agent blueprint to automate the measurement workflow. It also integrates the MSI Edge AI computing platform EdgeXpert MS-C931, powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which runs NVIDIA Nemotron 3 open model locally to analyze measurement results and convert them into easy-to-understand interpretations and recommendations. All inference is performed on-premises, ensuring that sensitive data remains secure and never leaves the local environment, making it another key highlight of this year's exhibition.
The system is designed to provide a fast and efficient respiratory data acquisition solution, addressing the scalability challenges of traditional measurement processes, which are often time-consuming and heavily dependent on trained professionals to interpret the collected data.
In addition to the main Macnica Group booth, Macnica Galaxy is also co-exhibiting this year with Epson Taiwan at Booth N804, showcasing a diverse range of robotic arm solutions. The demonstration focuses on three key applications: automated labeling equipment, Thermal Pad intelligent dispensing systems, and AI-powered visual defect inspection solutions, highlighting tangible achievements in smart manufacturing implementation.
Macnica Galaxy President Jason Chuang stated that the core of enterprise AI transformation lies in integrating AI models, computing platforms, and on-site devices to build a complete and operational system architecture. This enables organizations to move AI adoption from Proof of Concept (PoC) to real-world deployment in production environments.
At this year’s exhibition, Macnica Galaxy will also showcase a diverse portfolio of distributed products across multiple automation domains. The lineup includes Renesas functional safety motor control solutions and AI vision technologies, VAST Data AI data storage solutions, Xsens high-precision IMU/INS motion sensing modules, onsemi imaging and machine vision sensor modules, Altera Agilex™ 5 FPGA Holoscan Sensor Bridge solutions, LINE WORKS enterprise collaboration and governance software, and Hesai 3D LiDAR for robotics SLAM and spatial perception applications.
We warmly welcome you to visit the Macnica Galaxy booth during the exhibition. Our professional team looks forward to working with you to explore the limitless possibilities of industrial automation advancement.
