Overview
Customers are asking for IPMX by name, and the first wave of products is forming now. Every quarter you spend building the transport layer, JPEG-XS, PTP timing, NMOS control, HDCP, is a quarter a competitor spends shipping, and none of it differentiates your product.
The ME10 Gateway Kit is a working IPMX gateway built on the Macnica ME10 SoC. Board, firmware and enclosure run today as a sender or a receiver. Evaluate on it, develop on it, and carry the design into your own product with Macnica's engineers alongside you.
The kit passed IPMX product certification in August 2026, administered by AIMS with the EBU as certification authority. Certification applies to complete products, not chips, so this is the validation of the IPMX implementation inside the ME10 SoC.

Fastest Time to Market
The ME10 Gateway Kit is a finished, working gateway, so the parts of an IPMX product that take longest to get right are already behind you. Build directly on the design as it stands, or treat it as the foundation for a product that does something the kit does not.
- Working hardware from day one: Board, firmware and enclosure run today, configurable as a sender or a receiver, so evaluation starts on the real signal path rather than on a simulation or a datasheet.
- Develop on the unit you evaluate: Rear-panel UART, microSD and JTAG mean the same box carries you from first power-up through bring-up and debugging.
- Macnica engineering alongside you: Our team assists as you adapt the design to your enclosure and I/O, integrate your control and branding, and carry it through to production.
- A path to volume: Macnica partner ODMs are available for volume manufacture when the design is yours.
Built for Pro AV
IPMX exists because Pro AV needed the interoperability of ST 2110 without the assumptions broadcast makes about the environment, the budget and the operator. The kit delivers what a Pro AV endpoint has to carry, from a single 15 W box that PoE+ can power behind a display or above a ceiling tile.
- Full 4:4:4 chroma to 4K60p: RGB and YUV 4:4:4 at 8-bit and 10-bit, so a laptop desktop, a CAD window, broadcast video or a slide of small type is not thinned out before it reaches the network.
- JPEG-XS from intoPIX: Preserves the image across the network and holds latency under a frame, which is what makes a networked source usable for live presentation and KVM.
- Protected content, end to end: HDCP 2.3 with HKEP passes protected sources across the network, and NMOS IS-11 carries the display's EDID back to the source.
- Audio for the room system: Up to eight channels ride embedded in the HDMI stream, with analog line in and out for the amplifier or DSP.
- One cable: Media, control and PoE+ power share one Gigabit Ethernet connection, so an endpoint needs one connection and no outlet.
IPMX from the Start
Macnica has been part of the IPMX standards community since the start, and the ME10 SoC was designed against the specifications from the silicon up. Your product interoperates with everything built to the same documents, and tracks the standard as it evolves.
- Certified in the open: The ME10 Gateway Kit passed IPMX product certification at the EBU-hosted test event in Geneva, August 2026, in a program administered by AIMS with the EBU as the independent certification authority.
- The SoC behind the kit: Certification attaches to complete products, so the kit's result is the validation of the IPMX implementation inside the ME10 SoC. A product you design the SoC into starts from that same implementation.
- Discoverable on the network: NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 let a control system find the endpoint and route it, and IS-11 carries the sink's metadata, so the kit behaves as a standard IPMX device from the first connection.
- Standards that keep moving: The transport and control planes run in Macnica firmware, so the kit tracks the IPMX specifications as they evolve.
