Terasic Titan S10 SOM

The new Terasic Titan S10 SOM (System-on-Module) is based on the Intel® Stratix® 10 SX1100 FPGA. This SOM has a 1.1M logic element FPGA with an integrated quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, two 4G byte banks of on-board DDR4 memory, Board Management Controller and power management resources. This Titan S10 SOM incorporates high-end FPGA features and performance which significantly outperforms mid-range Arria-10 FPGA SOMs at a comparable price.

 

 


 

 

Terasic Titan S10 SOM

The industrial temperature grade Titan S10 SOM is available with either FMC or FMC+ board-to-board connectors; the FMC+ version providing an additional 8 transceivers (32 total) and 40 LVDS IOs (154 total). With the Titan S10 SOM development kit, the S10 SOM can be used for evaluation, prototyping and initial system development.  The SOM development kit’s full height, ¾ length PCIe carrier board adds a PCIe Gen3 x16 edge connector, two low-latency QSFPDD ports, dual RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, USB Blaster, USB 3.0 and HPS USB-UART interfaces. 

 

 


 

The SOM’s FPGA resources can be customized to optimally accelerate complex algorithms saving both cost and power in medical, imaging processing and signal processing applications. Terasic provides comprehensive set of documentation including user guides, FPGA design examples, Linux builds and software examples to help the user get started quickly. Using this Titan S10 SOM reduces costs, resources and development time while providing a secure, flexible, and low-risk path to a successful system design.
