Ultra-High Performance Altera FPGA NVMe Storage IP

The Design Gateway Nonvolatile Memory Express (NVMe) Host Controller IP tightly integrates with the Agilex™ FPGA’s P-Tile PCIe Gen4 Root Port Hard IP reducing the logic needed to less than 4200 ALMs and requires only 256Kbytes of on-FPGA SRAM.
This eliminates the need for external DDR memory. Depending on the NVMe SSD’s performance, this IP core can achieve over 6 GBytes/second in single-channel PCIe Gen4 operation and over 21 GBytes/second in quad-channel RAID0 operation without processor intervention. Utilizing the Design Gateway Nonvolatile Memory Express (NVMe) controller IP core is a low risk since it has been verified in numerous Altera FPGA designs.
