Getting live video from an image sensor to a screen across a network takes several complex steps: a high-speed sensor interface, real-time image handling, compression, network timing, and a receiver at the far end. This demo shows Macnica supplying each one. The Macnica Luminous imaging platform brings live video from a Sony sensor into an Altera Agilex 5 FPGA. The Macnica MEP100, built on an Altera Agilex 7 FPGA, compresses it to JPEG XS and sends it over a standard ST 2110 network to a Macnica ME10 IPMX gateway driving the display.
