Macnica To Showcase High Performance IPMX and ST 2110 Workflows at InfoComm

New MEP25 SmartNIC and production-ready ME10 SoC power live production and digital signage demonstration built entirely on open standards

SOLANA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, June 9, 2026 — Macnica will demonstrate how open standards are transforming professional AV and live production workflows at InfoComm with help from its latest media networking solutions. Exhibiting alongside the AIMS Alliance at Booth C7487, Macnica will showcase an end-to-end workflow integrating SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX technologies using its ME10 System-on-Chip (SoC) and wide-bandwidth SmartNIC solutions, including the new MEP25 media I/O platform launched at NAB Show in April.

The InfoComm demonstration highlights interoperable AV-over-IP networking across 1GbE, 10GbE, 25GbE and 100GbE environments, illustrating how open standards can connect content creation, transport and display workflows. The live production portion of the demonstration uses Macnica's MEP25 and MEP100 SmartNICs to transport real-time media streams, while additional program outputs are converted to IPMX streams and distributed throughout the booth. Digital signage displays across the exhibit are powered by the company's ME10 SoC, demonstrating how compressed and uncompressed media workflows can coexist within a standards-based infrastructure.

The showcase reflects growing momentum behind IPMX, the open-standard AV-over-IP framework developed by the AIMS Alliance to enable interoperability across manufacturers and applications. Recent industry adoption has accelerated across camera, display, projector, gateway and live production markets, creating new opportunities for manufacturers, developers and systems integrators seeking alternatives to proprietary ecosystems.

"Customers want the freedom to choose best-of-breed products for their live production workflows, conferencing, KVM and video wall systems. Product vendors should not waste time and money building non-differentiating connectivity technology. Macnica's IPMX products address the needs of both product vendors and end users by offering cost-effective, interoperable hardware, chip and software platforms," said Nestor Amaya, VP of Engineering for Macnica. "At InfoComm 2026, we're demonstrating interoperable ST 2110 and IPMX technology solutions across a wide range of network speeds and applications. Our goal is to give manufacturers and developers the building blocks, expertise and ecosystem partnerships they need to get differentiated products to market fast."

Macnica's portfolio also includes, software development kits, IP cores, and media transport technologies designed to accelerate development of standards-based AV-over-IP products. Beyond its own technologies, the company also serves as a major distributor of semiconductors and advanced technologies, helping customers combine complementary solutions into customized workflows and products supported by Macnica's engineering and application expertise.

InfoComm attendees can experience the demonstration and learn more about Macnica's IPMX-enabled technologies at Booth C7487 throughout the show.
