Access Control, Reimagined Through Vision
Vicon Lite is a vision-powered access control terminal developed by Namuga, drawing on more than 20 years of camera and sensing module expertise. Where conventional access control relies on cards, PINs, or centralized biometric databases, Vicon Lite replaces that model with multi-modal 3D facial recognition, on-device AI processing, and post-quantum encryption, delivering fast, accurate, and privacy-respecting authentication at the door.
Built on Namuga's NEPS platform, Vicon Lite brings together four capabilities that most access control systems treat as separate problems: strong biometric authentication, data sovereignty for the user, quantum-resistant security for data in transit and at rest, and plug-and-play deployment into existing RFID infrastructure. The result is a single compact terminal that handles every access challenge without added complexity or facility downtime.

Vicon Lite unifies the security, privacy, and deployment requirements that typically require multiple systems into a single compact terminal.
Multi-Modal Authentication
Vicon Lite uses stereo RGB and IR cameras to cross-validate depth, skin, and blood flow in real time. Photos, videos, and masks do not pass. The system achieves 99.7% recognition accuracy with a 0.3-second authentication speed, and supports facial vein recognition and gesture-based multi-factor authentication in the Pro model.
Post-Quantum Encryption via the NEPS Platform
Every layer of the Vicon Lite system is protected by the NEPS platform: ML-DSA and AES-256 encryption, PUF-based device key enclave for hardware-level protection, and TLS 1.3 for secure communications. This architecture provides protection against both current and emerging cryptographic threats, and is GDPR and CCPA compliant by design.
User-Controlled Biometric Identity
Biometric data never enters a central server. Vicon Lite uses a Self-Sovereign Identity architecture in which users carry their own encrypted identity. Users can enroll, update, or delete their biometric data at any time, giving individuals direct control over their own credentials. On-device 1:1 matching is the default mode, with 1:N matching available for enterprise deployments.
Plug-and-Play Deployment
Vicon Lite integrates with any existing RFID environment in hours. No new wiring, no additional software installation, and zero facility downtime during deployment. A built-in web server handles device management without requiring separate software, and the system supports 1:1, 1:N, and hybrid authentication modes.

Built to Secure the Future
From the hardware key enclave to the cloud, every layer of the Vicon Lite system is protected by post-quantum encryption. Identity data in storage and in transit is secured against both present-day attacks and future cryptographic threats, making Vicon Lite future-proof from day one.
Tap-and-Go Mobile Access
A single tap on a smartphone authenticates a user instantly via secure Bluetooth. No setup, no PIN, no physical card. The mobile ID capability leverages secure Bluetooth connection for biometric mobile access, reducing both friction and credential management overhead.
On-Device Vision AI
All facial recognition and anomaly detection runs directly on the Vicon Lite device. There is no cloud dependency, no recognition latency from round-trip processing, and no biometric data leaving the premises. The on-device AI also supports anti-tailgating analysis, detecting suspicious access behavior through AI-based behavior analysis.
