The Sony IMX838-AQR1 is an 8.40 MP color CMOS image sensor in a 1/1.8-type (8.86 mm diagonal) format with 2.0 µm square pixels, utilizing Sony’s STARVIS 2 back-illuminated architecture for outstanding low-light and near-infrared performance. It features high dynamic-range imaging, a variable electronic shutter, and supports up to 72 fps at full 3840×2160 resolution. With a low-power triple-rail supply design and flexible CSI-2 output, it’s built for advanced security, smart-city and wide-area surveillance systems.
