A Game-Changer in GNSS Low Noise Amplification

Tokyo, Japan, April 23rd, 2024Nisshinbo Micro Devices, a pioneering leader in analogue semiconductor technology, is proud to unveil the NT1195, a cutting-edge GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) wideband low noise amplifier (LNA) that sets new standards in low current consumption and high performance for multi-band GNSS applications. This latest innovation is specifically designed to meet the increasing demands of wearable and IoT devices.

The NT1195 operates across a frequency range of 1164 MHz to 1610 MHz and offers a compact solution with a high gain of up to 18 dB in the L2/L5/L6 bands and a remarkably low noise figure of just 0.7 dB in the same bands. With an operating current of only 1.9 mA and a versatile supply voltage range from 1.5 V to 3.7 V, this LNA enables prolonged device operation, critical for today's mobile and wearable technology.

This new LNA features a small EPFFP-6-FA package size of just 0.7 x 1.1 x 0.37 mm, making it one of the smallest solutions in its class, and requires only two external components. It also includes a standby function to further reduce power consumption, extending battery life when not in active use.

With the introduction of the NT1195, we are addressing the need for high-efficiency, low-power GNSS applications in a market that continues to demand smaller sizes without compromising performance.

The LNA is designed for a wide range of applications, including smartwatches, health bands, GNSS modules, tracking devices, and drones. It provides robust performance even in the most demanding environments. The product is currently available through our extensive network of distributors and partners, please visit our website for more details or to request samples.
