Sony IMX811 Series

Diagonal 64.84 mm (Type 4.1) Back-Illuminated CMOS Image Sensors for FA Cameras

The Sony IMX811 series brings back-illuminated pixel architecture to the Type 4.1 large-format sensor space, delivering 247.04 M effective pixels for demanding factory automation (FA) camera applications. A 16-bit A/D converter enables full-resolution all-pixel readout at 5.3 frames per second, with 12-bit output available at 12.4 fps for applications requiring faster cycle times. On-chip CDS/PGA provides up to 24 dB of gain, and SLVS-EC output supports high-speed data transfer to downstream processing hardware.

 

Two variants are available: The IMX811-AAQR for color imaging with R, G, B primary color mosaic filters, and the IMX811-AAMR for monochrome imaging. Both variants share the same device structure, package, and interface, allowing camera designers to support both configurations without a platform redesign.

The IMX811 series is designed for high-resolution factory automation cameras, including:
